I just rode the bike home from dealer this evening 31 miles on it,  turned off the switch. Started it backup and radio speaker were just buzzing radio look like it was playing but there was just buzzing coming from speakers. Turned off radio and still had buzzing coming from speakers. After the bike set for about 15 minutes the speaker started working again. I took a ride down the road pulled over and turned the bike off and restarted it buzzing again from speakers. Got it back home let it set again for about 15 minutes and speakers started working again

I'm starting to have one side go out, come back on then the other side does it. Been going on for a while but very infrequently. See this thread for possible reason.

I'm just waiting for it to become a steady problem so the HD SM will not tell me they could not get the stereo to act up.

I was just getting use to having tunes! Oh well, over 9000 miles and no other issues. Probably taking her on a rode trip next week, see if I can get the amp issue resolved when I return.

I just had to get a bike with a fairing... :furious2:  :wall:

There's a sticky in the Electronics Toys and Gadgets forum explaining how to access the Harman Kardon head unit's self-diagnostic feature.  That procedure might help identify the problem.

when you would turn it off and restart  did you turn the key on and wait a few seconds or just immediately start it? These fuel injected bikes go through a little diagnostic routine for a couple seconds or so when you turn the key on. Sometimes there will be problems like that if you turn the key on and start immediately.

Or it could very well  be the amp. There have been several go out and have to be replaced as you will see in other posts on this site.
