Title: CVO's with Paint Match Frames
Post by: michaelokielee@yahoo.com on February 09, 2021, 02:27:59 PM: I saw a pic on the forum of a 2017 Breakout CVO with color match frame and wondered if there was a Touring Model CVO with frame with color matched paint or if anyone has one they had painted themselves?

Post by: Twolanerider on February 09, 2021, 03:06:46 PM: The 2003 Road Kings (FLHRSEI2) had a gold frame. The 2007 Road Kings (FLHRSE3) got red, blue, or black frames to match those bikes. The 2008 (FLHRSE4) continued that pattern but nothing (I remember anyway) after that.

The 2003s were the first touring CVO models to get color matched frames. Even though 03, 07, and 08 Road Kings got the color matched frames 2002s did not; except for mine ;D .

My 05 Fatboy CVO had same blue as on the tank/fenders etc. My '15 has the standard black frame most all the bikes have with only the fenders, tank, lowers and such. Get less and pay more....

Post by: 2soaper on February 11, 2021, 11:32:44 AM: My '15 does have a black frame but it is not color matched black there is no sparkle/metal flake in the paint on the frame. Not the same paint as the majority of the bike.
