To get back on topic.....Had thought about ordering these before...but after reading these post, I went ahead and ordered a pair for myself & the wife.  Once I see how these fit, I may try the reinforced jeans.

Take a look at this website for a different kind of jean for both riding and everyday wear.

Mine came yesterday, they are ok. Fit is different from Levis. I got the regular cut and they are too baggy in the legs for my taste. They are cut like dress pants. I can't imagine how baggy the loose cut model is they offer. Yes, they are more comfortable riding in but as for looks, I prefer the Levis slim fit. I am certainly not slim, 5'10" and 190, but the Levi slim fits are what I am used too. Must be a 60's thing, I can't get into the present day baggy stuff that seems to be the style now. Now that I think about it, at 54 I may need to put more stock in comfort. Yep, I'll keep them and try them on my next long ride. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

MJ....I also prefer the Levis for looks...I'm a holdover from the 60's as well...but for riding, these are really comfortable.  Mine still fit my A$$ about the same as the Levis, but the legs are looser...on the bike, it feels good.

At 54 myself, soon to be 55, I'm into the comfort mode...wearing them for 200 miles this past weekend, I'm sold.  I'll carry the Levis on trips when I want a different "look" at night...of course, don't know what to do about this thing blocking the view of my belt buckle.....

Keep your fly closed so it stays back down there where it belongs.  Geez, like you'd want it up flabbling in the wind anyway..... [smiley=nixweiss.gif] .

I used to always tell my wife that was the only handle she had to grip. Then one day a truck cut us off, in her panic I found she has a vice grip. :'( :'( :'( Changed the rule and walked very funny for a week or so. ;D

Could not help it.  Just involuntarily crossed my legs...... :-?
