.003 is the manufacturing tolerance, .0012   .012 is the max service wear limit measured near the flywheel.

Update.....After waiting for 2 weeks all parts finally arrived to take care of the rear cylinder leak.  In addition, I decided that while the bike was in I would have the iso drive system installed.  While it's still too early to know if I will remain leak free...I have to say wow to the iso drive addition...talk about smoothing out the ride and it virtually eliminated the 5th gear whining.

So I have my fingers and toes crossed about the leak.....but I sure will enjoy the ride thanks to the iso drive.

Almost forgot the best news....while everything was in pieces I had them check the crankcase runout...it was .004.  While it cost me a little money to check it was definitely worth the piece of mind.
