I forgot to add the sign post forest in Watson Lake. Started in 1942 by a homesick worker on the Alaskan Highway with miles to Illinois. Now there are over 10,000 signs and is maintained by the city.

No, it's just a Canon point and shoot. I wear it around my neck so I can get to it quick.  I did take a couple of GoPro movies today, but the file size is too big for this site, even a short one.  I use the GoPro for single shots that I want to blow up.  Thanks for the comments.

DAY 8--You notice you don't see any cars in the photos---that's because there aren't any. Maybe see 50/day or so. They are great roads too.  Long slender straights with soft gentle curves, a stripe down the middle inviting you to follow and see where it leads.   OK, well maybe the voices should come back-----my mind is a dangerous place when left idle
