Brian, any change in the appearance of the photos is probably my fault.  I didn't compare before and after but did run them through a quickie bulk resizing program to get them small enough to post on the site here.  Fortunately the striping all presents clearly.  Sorry for the watery look.

B B, I sure do love that orange and the stripping is killer.  Glad to see all your time isn't being spent in the back yard working on your next Sat Photo :2vrolijk_21:

It really looks fantastic BB.  I love it.  I think you made the wise decision to keep it subtle.  I love the flame saddle bag latches.  So happy that you are happy.

It's the '07 SERG3 that should have been!  Nice job! :2vrolijk_21:

It looks great now and will look better with your additional plans you have for it.

BB those stripes are looking killer. You have done some justice to the glide. Willie D may be calling you in on the design for the 08's. Sorry I missed your call last nite we have been playing tag for a couple days. Catch up with you soon. Later,Q

SPIDERMAN, great looking RG!, I noticed that you have the chrome trim piece on your windshield and that you mentioned in your post that you have a clearview shield, I also have a clearview a 1" under on my 07 RG and tried to install the chrome trim but the pre formed shape of the trim did not mate up to the curve of the clearview shield and there was a large gap between the trim and shield which I wasn't happy with so I returned the trim piece. I'm not sure if the gap was due to the shorter shield / angle. How was the install on your trim piece? Do you have the taller version of the clearview shield? or did you make any modifications to fit the trim?
your comments would be appreciated.

Very nice, what color did he use for the flames? Looks to me like he matched the SEEG pumpkin flames pretty good.  :2vrolijk_21:

Larry,
I ran into the same problem. You need to be sure that the well nuts are seated all the way in to the lip and that the bolt/attachement point for the trim piece is tightened down, so they don't pull out when you tighten the screws on the trim pieces. It took me several tries to get it right. Kind of a pain, but I'd gotten to like the chrome trim and wasn't going to give up till I got it. I think I still have a bit more of a gap than you get with the stock windshield, but it isn't really noticeable and hasn't caused me any grief. Too bad you took yours back.

BB

I hate to be the lone naysayer in the bunch but,

The tourpak dragon as viewed is facing to the right.
The fairing dragon as viewed is facing to the left.
I would have to change the fairing dragon to match the tourpak.

I say the above with all the love I can muster because details like that bother me.
Don't be mad at my craziness!

 :2vrolijk_21:

Other than that it's beautiful! :nixweiss:

edited to add,
And I can't believe Brian (103T) hasn't mentioned that.
Now there's an eagle eye.
