Well it’s NOT the “Cover of The Rolling Stone”…..

But I’ll take it.
It’s quite surprising to find yourself on the cover of a magazine. I guess I’ll swing by a bike shop and pick up a copy or two.

Not everybody gets to even make it to the inside pages........let alone the cover.  Congratulations Mark!

We're all family here, so I'll 'fess up. I'm a former Fed who needed to have motorcycle skills to do a specialized job. I wanted something more than the MSF BRC & ERC, so I trained with the LAPD Police Motorcycle Unit. The agency I worked for allowed police officers to come and train at the the Federal Academy, so I was able to go to the LAPD motorcycle school on a cross-training basis. I had been riding since 1970 whatever and thought I knew how to ride a motorcycle. WRONG! I washed out on day four. But I took the little I learned, went home and practied on my Heritage. I honed my skills enough to return again and take the course and passed. The BEST Part is that since I did not ride my duty bike every day like a regular motor cop does, I was able to convince my superiors that I needed to return once a year for refresher training. I milked that cow for years, LOL!!!!
