Actually Mark, all kidding aside, I remember that night.  I'd just seen one of the red bikes for the first time the day before.  Had ordered mine and put the deposit down on it that day.  Found the website here that evening.  Started reading and couldn't stop.  The first two or three nights were just hours on end of total CVO immersion.  Stone sober and totally hooked.

Man, I'm glad I'm not the only one.  It took many hours to catch up on all the posts on the site, and that doesn't even include the bike specific ones I'm not finished with...

Guess "War and Peace" will have to wait! [smiley=computer.gif]

I can identify with that. About the same here I spent hours the first couple of nights just reading stuff, making notes, printing out information, and creating a folder of "Tips and Tricks". The amount of information (good information!!) I was getting made me feel like a kid in a candy store. Then I started figuring out how to post/quote, add images, tweak my profile, and other little things about website I was really hooked.

I hear ya Don. Once I found this site I was hooked! Not only by the excellant information, but by the great characters/fellow riders that call this great domain home. At first Lynn didn't understand what my obsession about this site was all about. But after Cripple Creek she finally came around to see why I enjoy this place so much. Now she doesn't give me grief anymore when I'm sitting in front of the computer for hours. We're really looking forward to M.V. and Canada.

I'm glad you joined 667 days ago...your character and wealth of information is second to none.

Take care & Be safe, [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

I remember that initial revelation well Mark.  Had just seen the bike the first time.  Was already hooked and excited.  Found it, bought it; didn't have a clue how I'd survive the massive, terrible terroristic 4-6 week wait.  Then, like nirvana on top of Apple Pie, there was this site.  A lifeline.  Suddenly the bike was more than just a bike.  It was, well, an obsession  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] .

We are truly some sick puppies.... [smiley=sick2.gif]

But I for one do not want to be any other way.

My wife gives me grief when I truly laugh out loud while on the site.  She quit coming in to see what was so funny.  She just doesn't get it.  And thats ok.
