Although it will be quite some time for me to be able to ride with all of you, I have officially taken and passed the Florida course and testing and will be on the road shortly!!!! I still need a lot of practice but I am graduating from BSR to driver

That's quite an accomplishment, and the first of many on your road to safe riding.

It's great that you recognize that you need more practice, it's the one thing a rider can never get too much of. Back when I was a rider coach, I used to temper the graduates enthusiasim with a reminder that all they are really prepared to do, is ride a 200cc bike aroung tiny cones, in an empty parking lot, with no cross traffic, cars, or pedestrians present, and under the watchful eye of an instructor.

So practice, take more classes, practice, take advanced classes, practice, and practice. It's what separates a very good rider, from an average one.

Keep your eyes up, your head on a swivel, trust your tires, and have fun!

Congratulations, Linda!  

Some of us have been riding for decades, and some for only a short time... but ALL of us were new riders at some point. Just remember to always ride within your abilities and experience, and don't try to keep up with the crazies. Some of us old men still ride as if we were young men.

Watch out for those folks on blue, yellow or red bikes... they are crazy. Those of us on ORANGE bikes are the only sane ones...
