Any advice on shipping a Bushtec trailer

May need to do this soon.  If someone has done it all recently please share who you used and an idea of what to expect for a shipping rate.  Thanks.

Also, preferably with a shipper who would take it on a pallet.  Don't want to build a box for this thing.

Are you selling one, or buying one? Most LTL carriers would rather have it on a skid!

Sold one.  Couple of PMs came in with shipping recommendation.  Called them and a couple others and found what seemed an easy solution at an acceptable rate.  Think I'm good now.  Thanks everyone.

Uship.com  They bid on your item to be shipped. I used them once. Bought an American Legend Trailer & had it shipped from Minneapolis Mn.to Jacksonville Fl. $475. I would use them again!

Don I have shipped them and also had them shipped to me.  Although you would consider a pallet a safe mode of transportation on a semi it is not.  You should construct a cheap crate frame around it and cover with clear plastic. Make sure the pallet is large enough some jackass on a lift truck cannot hit the trailer with the mast.  Lastly fragile and do not stack signs all 4 sides and top.  Do that and it will travel anywhere safely.

You can ship LTL and save the buyer some cash.

Well..... fortunately it ended up not being up to me.  After calling a few places and getting price quotes and various instructions the buyer ended up handling the shipping arrangements himself.  He picked the company himself and paid them directly.  So now I only have to follow the instructions I'm given.  Fortunately those are none at all.  I hand it (roll it) to the transport company when they arrive and they deal with everything else.  Sweet :2vrolijk_21: .
