Look I am not on here to argue or prove I am right and someone else is wrong! Just stating my experience and backing it up with some SAE dynos.
Time marched on and I tried it. I said I would try them and it worked well. Nothing wrong with change, we sure don't live in a static world do we?
I like the 400 in the 110 as I do the 408 in my 117 with 110 heads. Actually the TW8 will run right there with either of them, very close and it is $60 cheaper and plus doesn't need the geometry correction, more $$.
The 5 works very well in a stock 110 for the guys that want to retain torque and gain some top end over the SE255
The 400 is not in the same league, not a bolt-in, do the changes to use that cam and reap further benefits.
A side note
Hydra chain drive is a far cry from the gears I had in the 95" with a crank with .002 runout. That was a large part of the noise I had, loose gears.
So back to the OP question
Neither cam as far as I am concerned. Bolt in a 5 or go further and use an 8, 400 or 408 depending on your goal and budget. This advice pertains to a CVO110.

OK so here is an example, SAE, of the TW8 I just touted.
This is in a SE113 +.010 190ccp and SE 110 heads, reworked, 07 ultra.

Talked with Bob yesterday and we talked about some new ideas and combinations.  But he felt I should stay put with the 7H until he asked if I run 2000 to 4000 or 2000 to 4500 rpm and then my weight  "275 lbs."  and if I ride solo most of the time or two up .  So I told him I'm running it up to 4500 and ride mostly solo.  He paused and said the TW-555 with the 4* gear would be my best combination but again It wouldn't be huge jump just a shift in the curve.  Then he had to let me go.  Oh he also said that he doesn't recommend the TW-7H with a 4* gear for any drop in config.!  He let me know that the 7H is done its job before the gear has the time to be affective.  So for anyone interested  The 555 and the 7H are both great Wood drop In's and will make similar numbers but the 555 will graph  a little more to the left.  So your riding style should make your decision and not what Joe Shmoe did.  If I do try the 555 I will post the sheet here and get a better print out from my last tune for a comparo.  Thanks Again for all your input everyone as usual great input, opinions and advice.

Bob isn't a real big fan of the TW5-6 but based on what you said in this last post it is the clearcut better choice. It's intake close is close to the same as the 555 advanced and has 575 lift which the CVO head works well with.

Doc,  I'm not sure whats going on with the weird print out.  But Rob to my knowledge knows his stuff he works independently for R & R cycle training their dealers how to tune their motors and stage kits!  So the 7 is a better fit in a 103?  What would I gain or lose swithing to the TW5?

I was under the impression that the Manchester, NH based outfit, had their own dyno??
If he is training their dealers, he had ought to get the scaling squared away, and smooth off his afr lines while he at it, as well.
Being Bob Woods largest dealer in the country, and for almost 15 years, I will say that any/all of his cams work VERY well set-up and tuned correctly.
BTW the 5 will pull your peak over to the left, and really does not require a lot of compression either.
Might want to get your machine up on www.joescyclerepair.com dyno.
Averages 22,000-24,000 miles a year on that, with 4 monitor screens, and 2 guys making moves.
Had bikes in from 33 different states last year, and his 11th year tuning EFI.
He just had Direct Link change their program, so FBW can be tuned via throttle postion, vs manifold pressure.

Scott, I was hoping you would chime in here.  Heard lots of good about you guy's.  Reggie does have his own in house dyno room in ManchVagas.  Rob Helps them out with their dealer network.  So Rob will travel to a new R&R dealer and will help train them how to set up and tune their motors and stage kits you can check him out a www.RobsDyno.com let me know what you think.  As far as my dyno sheet goes who knows what's up with the scaling.  Do tuners normally check from 3000 and up or are all runs from 2000/2500 and up during a tuning session?  Scott if I walked threw the door and asked for a drop in cam to work with my bike, weight and exhaust choice what would you put in?  Thanks for the correction that the 5 graphs more left and NOT RIGHT I'll fix that last post.

That doesn't sound like something to brag about.  Maybe you can enlighten me on why that's a good thing?
