I was one of the faithful but Harley-Davidson's rising prices and cheapening features will do them in, at least in the touring market. Perhaps that is why they are focusing on other models.
The new CVO RG Limited with its 1960's technology is $44,899 plus $3,000 for paint. Harley claims it weighs 953 lb wet with 125 ft lb of torque and maybe 100 horsepower. Harley claims a 31° lean angle. This excludes any extended warranty and the thousands of you will likely spend on upgrades.
BMW Grand America: $27,465, 809 lb wet, 135 ft lb, 160 hp, 45° lean, fully electronic, quiet, smooth. Sorry Harley.
