Ford will use the 2009 Chicago Auto Show to introduce their 14th Harley Davidson F-series pickup. The new Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 features a number of unique exterior and interior touches to help set the model apart from the brand's more mainstream counterparts.
On the outside the tuck features a new grille with slim horizontal chrome bars, 22-inch wheels outfitted with low-profile performance tires, fully integrated deployable running boards, and the requisite Harley Davidson badging. Two exterior paint colors are offered, Tuxedo Black and a new deep maroon called Lava.
The interior also receives the Harley Davidson treatment as it features two-tone black and red leather seating, gloss black trim for the dash and steering wheel, and hand-made cloisonné badges applied to the seats and center console. Ford used authentic materials in order to give Harley customers the exact same look and feel that they are accustomed to on their motorcycles.
While the special edition features plenty of new tinsel, it doesn't pack any extra power as it comes with Ford's 5.4-liter V8 engine which produces 320 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque.
Pricing information will be announced closer to the truck's release date this summer but expect it to cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $40,000.
