Even if he was a three nosed alien from Venus riding a one wheeled twincam powered unicycle without an intergalactic motorcycle endorsement . . . . what would that have to do with not citing a negligent act committed by the SUV driver?

The pass we were talking about was for a little speeding in days gone by or not having gotten the motorcycle endorsement.  The other was, well..... just politics.

I don't know all the facts but it sure seems like the driver should have been cited. In Ohio we're trying to get a right of way violations law passed to deal w/ this very issue. The Gov's very lucky to just have a fat lip. Could of been much worse. Any driver that violates another's right of way should be cited and an appropriate penalty meeted out depending on the severity.

I think it's time for Arnold to set a good example for his son and take an MSF rider course.

Just be glad important-a-bees like Arnold and Leno ride. Their endorsement of our past-time helps us all in the long run when the blue hairs and pocket protector crowd try to pass judgement on us. I rode with Leno in 1998 at the Milwaukee H-D 95th party. He's a stand up kind of guy and a very good rider too. Very personable and acted like he really liked being treated like a regular guy. By the way, the Ultra he was riding had stock pipes on it but it was a loaner from the MoCo. I'm sure his personal stable back home is packed with lots of noise.
