No chit there I was reading and asking questions about tranny oil. 2014 CVO RK and decided to give Royal Purple 75w90 a shot and FML this chit sucks. my bike shifts like crap. now I'm debating to go back to Syn3 or Formula plus. I know is choice but RP don't use it on trannys

RL Shock Proof is good stuff.

Interesting observation. RP 75w-90 worked great in my 5-speed, but RP 75w-140 worked even better and I've been running it exclusively for many years now with no issues or regrets whatsoever.

why not go to your local walmart and get you a quart of the supertech full synthetic gear oil, either 75-140, or 75-90 and see how that does for you? i've been running it in mine for almost 20,000 miles and just about ready to do a second oil change and go with it again. $6 for a qt. can't be beat :2vrolijk_21:

Been running Motul Gear 300 with great results. IMO

X-3 ! On All the above

Redline "Heavy" Shockproof! Improves shifting and significantly quietens the H.D. shifting "clunk". Used in my `05 and `15 CVO same result.
-
I use Red Line with shock proof.

I used Spectro Platinum 6-speed oil at about the 2k mile mark. Have not had any issues. Nice and smooth
