I don't feel too bad when the little bastids cream mine...$15.99 at the home depot...

I did put it on with velcro so it just kinda pops off without fighting back...It must take some fun out of it cause I haven't been hit a while.   :nixweiss:

No way.  I grew up on a dirt road in the middle of no where.  The closest neighbor was 1/4 miles away.  If anything like that happened it would have been only 2 or 3 usual suspects.  It's happened to me once or twice though.  However, the snow plow is the real danger.  They take the whole post and crush the box like foil.

Sweet mail box, but I couldn't put it out by the road.  Someone would snatch that up pretty quick or, like several mail boxes in the past, someone would run it over.

My Brother in law got his whacked by kids clipping the corner with a push bar on a 4X4, resulting in the PT post that was in the ground breaking of. He cemented a 6 X 6 piece of  square tubing in the ground, painted it pt green and waited. .... 3 weeks later the culprits were caught when they tried clipping again. Fender got beat up all to heck. Turns out it was the boys who lived in the next concession. Their father actually made them fess up. THE MUFFMAN
