50mm Throttle Body
« on: November 06, 2007, 02:01:00 PM »

I had a SE 50 mm Tb installed on Godzilla, and had her dyno'ed. The numbers were respectable, 103 HP, 110 TQ. That was for about a month, 6 weeks. Then the flanges snapped. No matter what I did, S&S or the new HD flanges, I couldn't get it to seal. I finally went back to the stock CVO TB.

Has anyone experienced these problems? I'd love to throw that 50mm back on and reload my map, but not the expense of an unreliable bike.

Thanks.

Only thing I can think of is there was an angle change on the heads and manifolds.
