Is that just a chrome trim piece, or did you have to replace the whole LED light fixture?

That little chrome piece right there takes most of the $500 budget most of us have to work with for our bike modifications. ;) ;)

Looks really good. I had priced it out a few weeks ago for a buddy wanting to do that. It's very expensive but makes the bike look better than it already does. Good Job.
-
$252.00 at LSHD1.com still a bit over the top but I leaned my bike up against a stucco wall and that is comparable to getting it painted and its chrome where there is none WOW

Just wondering - is that chrome trim piece metal or is it plated abs plastic? If plastic I wonder if one could have the stock trim piece plated for less cost. :nixweiss: They plate abs all the time.
-
abs for sure

abs for sure
That's what I thought. Friend saw one of the 12s early on and spied the chrome trim piece and wanted to add it to his '10 SE Ultra. He swore it was metal but I did not think so.

OK, so what's the magic touch to pop that center LED out? The two sides came out easy but the center is in there tight.
-
you need to get 1 side free i uused 2 small screw drives 1 on the outside end and 1 from the inside
