Great pictures and mods.   Got my Atomic Orange last week and initiated the mods.   V&H, Fullsac, PM shift and brake pedal, solo seat, so far.   Lousy weather, so I haven't tried her out....admittedly a bit nervous.   I traded my 2012 CVO SG for this (first) RG but hear, once you go Road Glide, there's no turning back.   Not really an Orange and Gray but wow what a great looking bike!   Graphics are continuous and fluid.  MoCo has a winner, IMO. :)

I painted the 4-point docking hardware, and the Yaffe lic frame.

It looks awesome!  Not sure pictures do justice.

And, Thanks Puzzle for the flush fork trim!  Got it and installed it!  It is perfect!

Those sure look great painted.  Two questions:  1. Did you have any trouble matching the paint?  2. Did you do anything differently in your painting process to the docking wear points?

Cowboy:

The painters matched it great.  They pride themselves on that ability.  I really do not know what they do...

The "wear" points you refer to are painted.  (I assume you mean the chrome portion NOT under the cap protection?)  I am told that the box will mount on the rubber parts under the caps, so I am hoping the chrome parts will not be used.  I think they are for mounting a backrest or things other than the box.

We will know soon as the box is supposed to be here anyday (is a week late already...)

Hope that helps.

And, I too am a cowboy bagger--- how do you like this? !!  :bananarock:

The paint is done by "Spade Brothers" out here in southern CA.

They really are artists.  I am very happy with them.

Yes, but I believe the air cleaner has to be changed because it hits the lowers.

Congrats on your new bike, I'm getting my bike in jan. 2013. I have read that you are getting the fullsac X pipe and 2.25" cores. I'm thinking of getting the Fullsac X pipe, but I'm not sure about the cores, is there a big difference in the 2.25" vs the 2" cores? Here in holland I don't know anybody with a Fullsac X pipe and new cores. How are the sound levels? Is there a big difference ?

Here in holland I don't know anybody with a Fullsac X pipe and new cores. How are the sound levels? Is there a big difference ?

I installed the Fullsac "C" X pipe, 2" cores and TTS tuner. It took me longer to read the instructions on the TTS tuner than anything else. The OEM cores take a little work to get out however I was able to do it with a Dremel (didn't fell like firing up the air compressor). Fit and finish was very good, the sound is great. The tune is real close as I have just a little decel popping. Once I decide on cams or not is when I'll get it tuned locally.

I can not comment on any other size core other than the 2" cores as that is all that I have. If the 2" cores are to loud for my taste out on the highway I'll use the OEM baffle wrap and knock the db's down some with a layer or two. They sound great in the driveway as is and loud in my echo chamber garage!

Seat of the pants says the exhaust/tune woke the bike up some.
