I have never paid over MSRP for a CVO.  Bought an 09 SERG, and the 12 SERG.  I have a 13 CVO King coming and it will be MSRP also.

Then it is obvious you did not buy from Avalanche HD (which is the stealer I was mentioning). Their sales guy told me at their open house that they sell CVO's for $5000.00 over MSRP   Who knows, maybe more for 2013??

I paid MSRP.  I had no leverage.  There were two guys wishing I would back out of the deal.
I felt lucky to get  my Maple 2012.

I changed the tag mount to the Yaffe mount. There was no drilling of the fender, you have to drill out the removable plate behind the fender. The plate mount sits relatively tight to the fender. The wiring was plug and play.

A few little things, changed the mirrors to match the pegs and floor boards. Chrome master cylinder covers.

Installed the detachable mounts tonight, man are the ugly sticking up like that! I did the 2 point system with the use of a Milwaukee Bagger TP mount.







Nick only had the mounts in raw ready for shipment so I took one. I'll have it powder coated with some other parts.




For the three times a year I run with a TP the black is fine for now.... for now...

I've read that posted before. All five letters are fully visible. I will have to install the date sticker when it arrives, nothing a little scissor work won't take care of (do that now on my chopper). I'm guessing I'd really have to be doing something stupid to get a tag mount ticket.  ;)

They say it is Illegal in TN and a few other states also.  I have never had an issue with it, all the letters are visible.  Running it on my Skunk and ordered one already for the CVO King I get some time this year to go with the Skunk
