Nope not even close. That guy is a Dealer up here in Maryland. He is working very close with the factory and is making deals when not at the rallies. You can find him on Facebook. PM me for his info.

I spoke with the Maryland guy in Daytona.....he stated that he (along with 2 partners) just purchased Bushtec..and their first goal is to improve customer service. I wished him luck.

Not sure the deal was finalized. So I didn't say anything. As far as customer service????? I guess time will tell.

Here is a post from Lewis Prestons site Electrical Connection.

Bushtec Manufacturing.
Yeah...I know....this is the EC page.
My family bought Bushtec in 1989. We moved it to East Tennessee in 1992. Then we sold it 8 years ago. The last 8 years had change...some good, some not so good. One of the items in the good column was the hiring of Keith Simpson. Keith had that drive and compassion for the product that my family did. Then he left last fall.
Fast forward to last week. Keith is now one of the new owners and General Manager overseeing all operations.
My brother Andrew and I have been invited to be a part of the new Bushtec. And I'm proud to say that we will be helping Keith and the crew however we can (no...I'm not closing EC or leaving). What I can tell you is that you are going to see changes again...and all for the better of the product and customers.
