I have the plate frame ordered.  It should be at the house when I return from my two weeks off shore.  Then I will decide if I am drilling the fender or the plate frame.

I used blue tape to completely cover the area on the fender, Note: use the blue tape with the orange center, it removes easier. Do all your marking on the tape, and drill through that.

After looking into both methods I decided to drill the mounting plate.  With a drill press it was done in 15 minutes and this way I was able to use the OEM inner fender backing plate and the plastic wire housing.  Pretty happy :apple: with the result.  Got the Full-sacs installed too!  Got to love the sound!!!!Whats next??  I've got some more boxes to open.

What looks high? Where?  What did you change?  It all looks the same and the same as LarryB's.  I guess you have to own one to notice the difference.

It's lowered 3/16" but it does make a big difference.  I'm finished with this project....on to the next.

Next....I'm gonna ride it.  Finally getting some good weather.  If it does rain, probably will install the HID's.  Thanks for your help!

So how did you mark where to drill on the backing plate?  Did some one hold it while you marked thru the fender holes?  Did you have to drill the holes at an angle?

I have acess to a drill press.  I would rather drill the plate back than my fender.  I also like the idea of using the fender backing plate and wire housing.

Tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Greg, you got me through this one in good shape.  Using the OEM bracket for alignment is the key.  So what did you add on this week?

Glad you got 'er done.  Still thinking this week.  Here's one.  How about an 07 SE Derby cover.  They are available in blue or red script.  $123 from Chicago HD.  Probably have to paint the script yellow or granite....  Sure looks better than our plain ones...
