Has anyone with an 2004 FLHTCSE and the stock radio have/had intermintant skipping noise either listening to a CD or the radio? I noticed today after I shut the bike off the pop or skip noise stopped. I added HOG tune speakers a year or 2 ago. Thanks!

The SEEG radio has an added internal amp. You could try hooking up the non amplified speakers leads to the speakers to see if the problem still exists. The stock non-amplified leads are tapped back on the harness near the speakers. Let us know how this works.

RoadRunner,

By chance did you change your spark plug wires on the bike? A friend changed his to a "better wire"
than came on the bike and had issues with noise through the radio after doing it. Went back to stock wires and the issue went away.

Thanks for the info, I looked at my maintenance records and am due for a 20K maint. Bought some plug wires from magnicore, and will have the plugs replaced as well, as well as the fork oil replaced. Ride Safe! Cheers!
