ROUTE 66.....

I thing is the right time to initiate a new topic about the incoming Route 66.....

As many of you know my SESG was delivered in Orlando last Tuesday evening. On Wednesday I left early in the morning and rode 520 miles. I stopped to stay overnight in Montgomery, AL. On Thursday, I rode 498 miles. I met Ron (BigR55) in Owensville, IN and rode together until Vincennes, IN where I stayed that night,

On Friday, I tried to leave early (6am) was raining and cold. I wait until 7:30am to leave. I got rain for one hour and then the sky cleared up. I arrived to Tinley Park. Few minutes later Mark (Wheelsnkeels) show up and we had a beer together. Here is a picture

Then Joe took me to an independent shop to have the pipes installed in my bike, I had shipped them to him a couple of days before. Also that afternoon I had the opportunity to do the 1000 mile service.

I picked up the bike today and this is how it looks......I liked! Thanks Joe for the favor!!

Bike looks great Jorge, love the pipes, just one question, why a Street Glide instead of and Ultra SE if your going to have a removable tour pack?

We rode a group of 10 bikes to downtown Chicago to see the begining/end of the famous Route 66. We got a hell of traffic in the morning due to the Chicago Bers game.....
