I removed the fuel tank center console and saw this.

Shouldn't this bundle of wires be run UNDER the tank and along the frame? That's how it was on my '01 Ultra, shouldn't it be like that on my '06 as well?

They quite running them along the frame.  The frame was wearing the plastic coating off the wires and shorting them.  Leave it as it is.

And that was a problem my '01 had. I had to take it into a shop and have a bunch of wires soldered and repaired. I'm glad to see that the MoCo takes corrective steps, even though they won't admit to anything.
