Here's a dyno chart sent to me today from Jim at Metal Dragon.
The build is a CVO 110, head work, 58 TB, 625 T man, Fullsac "D" X Pipe, Fullsac 2.25 cores.
Nice numbers with a very smooth TQ curve! Just what we like to see.

Nice job Jim!

The stage I CVO I did last Friday ended up with 2.25s. I started with the customers requested 2.0s, then asked if we could try the larger 2.25s. Picked up a couple of points
with the larger 2.25s. Customer test rode his bike and said the sound level was perfect and decided to keep them.
At around 100 HP and above, the 2.25 cores will have a slight power advantage.

those #'s are similar to mine so I,m guessing compression is some where near 10-10.5

If your asking about the sheet of our build that Steve posted, if i recall correctly, 10.3 static, 9.3 corrected, ccp set at 190 lbs.

And to add the fit and finish of the new D pipe is top notch. The sound is a bit different than the c pipe as well. Great job Steve!

Thanks Jim!

Its interesting you mentioned that. With the new collector having equal sized exits, the flow and pressure through the mufflers is virtually equal.
The overall sound is a noticably deeper when on the throttle and slightly quieter at cruise. I have actually switched to the 2.25 cores on my personal bike.
In the past they were to loud for us at steady cruise. Balancing the flow has softened the tone and taken some of the harshness out.

Steve,

Could this be me?  If so, man are you right.  The performance is wonderful and while the sound is louder than I had planned the trade-off is worth it.  Also there is the added benefit of being able to set off car alarms in parking garages throughout Las Vegas!  Now I just have to learn to keep off my throttle so much so my mileage doesn't get killed.

Steve,

How did Doc's testing turn out?

Fatboy.
We sent Doc a test pipe a couple of weeks ago. He immediately ordered two more. I think he likes it.  :2vrolijk_21:

I'm sure after he has tuned and seen the results from more than one he will chime in.

 Great, thank you.

I'm very interested in the combo's he tests and the results hopefully they will include the stock CVO 110 motor with just headpipe, muffler and tuner changes for comparison.

I have to do something basic by Spring when I roll out my new bike and I'm hoping to get it right the first time with a system that can grow a bit with me downstream.

I have the x pipe and love it.  Andrew (Rosa) did the tune and man the bike runs really well.  When is the D pipe going on the web site?
