I'm sure this has been asked before but, can some one recommend a way or the best way to tie down the front end of my 19 FLTRXSE without rubbing the paint? On my street glide I used the HD tie-down brackets but no such item exists for a road glide.

In the past I have tied down at the axle/fork area but my the wheel chock in my small Clamshell trailer is too close to the D-rings in the floor to allow that.

I haven't mounted this up or tried it yet but I bought one of these over the winter for the very same reason.

At Lordco I found a pair of ratchet straps with a very short minimum length......I think about a foot.

10x on the biker bar.

Best 350 bucks I have spent. Bolted it to the floor of my new trailer 2 weeks ago, clamped the bar to the bike (right behind the primary cover worked for me) rode up into the trailer and was locked down before I could hit the kill switch. Feels solid as a rock without fork compression. Will never be without one again. I think my neighbors are all getting one after they saw how easy it was.

The one time I had to haul my Road Glide.  We used very short ratchet straps and used the front engine guards just above the hwy pegs.  Used the frame in the rear.

I hate hauling a bike, I'm always nervous about doing so.  Straps really need to be good ratchet type, the others will slip.

This is what I've done on multiple trips.  Wi to SD, Wi to Ten, and Wi to NY.  No issues at all and bike stay locked in!

Nick, ktperformance.net has them for $342.50....$330 if you buy 3  or more (group buy?).    Might consider cancel/return to Amazon and save some bucks.

Yes I see that, only problem is I'm in Canada. 340 = about $500 CDN then add shipping, brokerage fees and HST tax at 13% and its well over 6 hundo. Prior to COVID-19 I would have it shipped to my USA address in Niagara Falls but these days the border is closed for non essential travel...

So if i want it now, I have to buy it from a Canadian vendor and suck it up! At least I know its made in America, not CHINA!

Thank you though!! Much appreciated.

Yeah I know the exchange rate/duties can be a pain....KT offers free shipping stateside...does that include Canada?, I don't know.   Could be worth a phone call to find out what the final damages could be.....or see if they have a business partner/distributor up that way that could cut a deal.   But, if needed right away...I guess you are stuck w/Amazon.     Good product/wise choice.....take care.
