Ron,, if you were asking me,, I have a 12.   Pretty easy to put on.  Not sure what it takes to add to a 14 or 15.

I know the extender itself mounts differently and the pre-2014 extenders will not work. I haven't asked my dealer in about 4 months but back then HD did not offer one yet.  I will go and check out the soft brake site.  Thanks!

I have a Softbrake lever on mine and it works and looks great.

Do you have the HD part No?

Here are some pictures of my soft brake

Is the Soft Brake - brake lever "stock/standard length" or 1" or 2" exdtended?

EZ-brake worked for me. Look at my posting on the brake lever. I have before and after pictures as well.

Tried the Accutronix does not work. In lower position it hits the pipe and in upper hits the radiator. Any other options but the soft brake? MOCO coming out with sleaker arm that u don't have to use the fat peddle?

Here's a question--does anyone sell a brake lever that moves the pedal OUT a couple inches?  I find that my foot barely wraps enough to reach the pad, and I've used the rear brake maybe twice in four years.

Also fitted EZ Brake recently. Makes a hell of a difference I can now use my rear Brake pedal with eze. Where it should be.

I spoke by phone with Carl Miles of heelguard.com.  He carries the Softbrake Extended Brake Lever and says it will work on the '14 - ' 15, shower head Ultras.  Looks like it would help but it doesn't match the Airstream Collection.
:confused5:
I'm familar with EZ Brake and have used them before and may get another for my current ride..........but damn if I can understand this Heelguard site and the pics shown when you click on their site and talk about (Softbrake)????  All I see is a brake lever that looks very similar to EZ Brake and pics on the left of the screen that kinda look like shift levers and in no way like a brake lever. :nixweiss:

I went with the EZ.Brake.  From the pictures I could see, it looked like much better quality. It is heavier than the stock item. Apparently made from steel rather than aluminum. The quality seems excellent.

Extended brake lever
« Reply #29 on: February 13, 2016, 10:26:43 PM »

I'm wondering if someone can help me with getting an extended brake lever for my 2015 CVO Limited please ? I'm having a difficult time finding one from Harley. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
