wind on the BSP
« on: April 15, 2012, 06:20:58 PM »

Is there any way to reduce the amount of wind that gets in the face of the BSP. Will a taller windshield help? Yes leaving her home will reduce all the wind but that is not an option.

Yes, a taller windshield will help.  If you get a windshield with the recurve at the top it's like adding 2" to the windshield.  Top of windshield should be even with a point between your nose and mouth in a normal riding position.  If you want to see over the top, which is recommended.

Full face helmet,, with an intercom setup.  :2vrolijk_21: or, get her closer to the windshield, this will require her very own bike...   :P

Just put on a Freedom Shields, 12 inch medium grey tint windshield, on my 08 Ultra and my BSR says she gets less wind than the stock windshield.  I prefer to look thur the windshield rather than over it, June bugs in Illinois hurt when they hit.
