Title: 2019 FXDRS what have I done now???

So, I was poking around on Copart, and found a '19 FXDRS with clear title. Still with paper plates. (Temporary tags)

Vivid black, apparently laid down on its right side on a low speed slide.

I bid on it, and got it. Now what?

I liked the look, and of course the stock exhaust is crap anyway. 

Needs a tank (or repair) right side clip on, right peg, brake pedal. Some light damage to the tail section.

I figure I'll put a fender eliminator on it, exhaust, repaint the tail section and tank and lower it and do something with the stock seat.

It'll make a fun bar-hopper...  Pics up soon :worthless:

That's (kinda) how I felt when I landed my FXR.  Had always wanted an FXR2.  Finally saw an ad for one that seemed too good to not pass up.  Offered an even lower price and, oops, the guy said yes.  It needed some work.  It's become my favorite local ride and about the only thing I ride around town.  Sometimes the Travel Gods just want us to have something; and they make it so.

Congrats, can't wait to see pics. I am looking for a heritage or deluxe for the same reason. Want to build a bar hopper or around town bike. Kathy gave me the ok but it will have to be something she can ride also, her words. Been looking but no luck as of yet.

I have been looking for a Fat Bob or RK for the same reasons, plus it will give me something to work on over the long ass Northeast winter..
