Jock:

took a fall on wednesday night.
The bike hit a parked van sideways and I went over the bars. Helmet scraped (but saved me well), my legs broke the fairing and screen (so they hurt but ain't broken), I have a little road rash on each elbow & knee as well as one shoulder. Only one metacarple got broken.
Could be needing a new frame for the SEEG. [smiley=wall.gif]

Tony,
Sorry to hear of your fall, was it on a motorway? Looks like you will be in need of some plasters for some time. Hope you have a lorry to provide some transportation until the bike is repaired.
If I am you, I am getting pissed about now and waiting for the repairs!!
All the Best Until then,
Jock

Damn Tony, if you hit something as big as a van and went over the bars and broke pieces off the bike with your body as you did so and only broke a bone in your hand you're fine man. Keep it in conext too, break one metacarpal and you've still got four more to spare [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Really sorry to hear about the incident though. Even more so as you've only had the bike such a short period of time. Not sure how you might be seeing things right now. But were I in your place I'd actually be pleased that I only had to replace bolt on paint or other cosmetic parts and maybe swap a frame as opposed to having busted that engine you spent all that extra money on.
Let the bumps and bruises and the hand heal up. Then when the time comes remember that bananas are to be ridden and not peeled [smiley=thumbsup.gif] . If you need some help stateside finding or ordering a part don't hesitate to give a shout.
Tonys:
Tony, sorry to hear of your misfortune...glad you didn't get more serious injuries...I would insist on a new frame if there is any doubt. A lot of us have been there with one bike or another. Your bike will be as good as new or better. Hang in there.
Tony

Tony,
Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Good to hear that you're OK (minus the finger...hoping it ain't the one you mine nostrils with)
It's gonna take about a week for you to start really missing your scoot.
This might be a great excuse to go shopping for an "alternate ride" :)
JCZ:
Just checking in Tony......to see how you're feeling?
