Morning everyone,
Looking for advice from someone that has done it. I currently pull a bunkhouse trailer with my 17 CVO limited. My wife and I aren't small people both in the 220 - 230 range weight catagory. With the stock shocks on the bike I find myself maxing out the load. I'm looking for replacement shocks that give me more upper range if needed.
Thanks very much,
Ron.

I know Ohlins offer multiple spring rates. Call Carol Burkes at Suspended by Smarty. He's a suspension guru, can give you solid advice. 469-268-4232

I would agree with a call to Carol. He should be able to fix you up. I pull a trailer quite a bit, not as quite as heavy as your bunkhouse but it still gets loaded down. Wife and I sound like we are in your same size range. I gave our weight, as well as trailer tongue weight to Carol and he had a set of Ohlins sprung to cover our average weight. Riding 2 up we are good, and typically I add 2 turns to the preload when we add trailer. Probably got 50,000 on that set up and still very happy with it

Check these out! I've had great success with both their product and their customer service. Lifetime warranty and no expensive required maintenance.
