Mine did not come with a rain sock. The owner's manual says the rain sock is dependent upon region or locale? It rains in MO, so I would think this region should get the sock. My sales guy got the dealer to issue me an IOU, so I'm not worried. I'm just curious I guess.

Also, does the sock say CVO on it, or is it the same screaming eagle sock in the kit?

I received a sock with mine. It's the standard Screamin Eagle sock. In addition to the "other" stuff, got a microfiber detailing cloth and a jiffy stand puck.
I was alittle disappointed that the MoCo stopped the Gold Key program .... was really looking forward to that gold key. Now I understand we'll be getting a coin ??!

Got the rain sock in mine too...with the "Willy G" lookin thumb drive included I'll take that any day over the gold key. Was way surprised the there were actually 2 headset/mics in the box!

My sock has Haynes in it. Near the toe.

My 12 had two headsets as well, 14 is the same.

My 14 cvo did come with a rain sock - it just says screaming eagle on it.

My dealer ended up giving me a rain sock. They couldn't determine if I was supposed to get it or not, so just gave me one. :)

Your Coin, dog tag, museum passes, etc. will come from the Museum soon probably. You also should have received an outdoor rain cover.

If they are doing that, it's news to me. If you are referencing the heavy, bulky canvas type cover with the CVO logo on it, it is NOT an outdoor cover. Besides that, if you carried that thing on trips, it would take up the entire Tour Pak. Mine never made it out of the plastic wrap on the three CVO's I've owned.

Yes, that's the cover. It is definitely an outdoor cover. Even the tag on the wrapper stated "Outdoor" cover. I've even seen pictures of the tag on this site somewhere. It's way too heavy for an indoor cover. Why would an indoor cover require rope straps to keep the cover on tight?

I bought a 2013 CVO Ultra in July and a CVO road King in August...I received the coins about a month after delivery from the Factory/Museum. The coins are really nice and I am hoping that they will be doing them for the 14's as I just picked mine up the other day.
