Epiphany -- Jesus -- Harley -- See Below
« on: November 30, 2009, 11:05:57 PM »

I just had (ok, suffered) an epiphany.  Nay, an awakening.  A spiritual revolution.. oops, revelation.

Over the last few days (ok, couple of months, it's a long assed movie) I've been watching Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ."  Don't ask me why.  I don't know why I'm doing it either.

This flick is the filmmaker's representation of Jesus to Jerusalem.  The look and feel of Jerusalem showing the impact of Jesus' entry and the result of his being there.

Has anyone ever noticed that "The Passion of the Christ" and the scene of Hanson's ending in "Easy Rider" have uncomfortable similarities?  Pick the important scenes and watch them back to back (like I just did).  It's enough to make one believe.  The ages old question is finally answered.  Yes, Jesus must've entered Jerusalem on a Harley.  And the place has never been the same since.
