I think I'd be more inclined to do one of these: http://www.try-tech.com/cycle-pocket/cpt-main.htm

A friend of mine uses the automobile-sized equivalent for his 1995 Corvette each year.  It is kept in unheated storage where the garage door is also opened daily to get the winter beater in and out, which adds to the condensation that can accumulate in and around the car.  Tha car looks as pristine underneath as Day 1.  Even the exhaust manifolds show no sign of surface rust.

As long as you can go without seeing the bike all winter long, I think sealing it up tight with one of these bags would be the way to go, and it's cheaper than the bubble, too.

;)  Well, we are not in the South and we are not in the North.  We are kinda in the East, but most assuredly not in the West.  But we do have a spare room set up 24/7 for any member of this site.  We have a large garage.... car may have to be moved to accodate a dresser but a smaller bike would fit right in. We don't have a pool, but we do have a hot tub that runs all year and we pull out of the garage and start riding on two lane roads.  Any member here is invited to share any time they like.  If you plan ahead, we can ride with ya.  We ride every month of the year, but not every weekend.  Seems the heat is more of a deterant to us then then the cold.  Not sure what the perfect locale is.... that seems to be open for debate, but for now... we live here in the Southern part of Virgina.  It is a nice motrocyle riding state, and for us for now..... it is so coooooool!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Sorry to burst your bubble ole chap, but the only thing reduced about my circumstances is that wifey is waitin with dinner and a smile when I get home now instead of tearin me a new a$$hole when she got home from the pressure cooker law firm she worked at. California unemployment compensation is probably equal to the GNP of merry old England as well, so life is good dude. But just to me a sport, what do you need that you think I might have ?  I might need a favor from you if I ever get my arse over there to visit the olde countrie.

An old topic, but it's time to start thinking about winer storage in many parts of the country.  Anyone have any comments about the Harley bubble pro or con after using last year?  I'm thinking about picking 2 of these up since I will not have easy access to my climate controlled storage this year and will be leaving the bikes in the garage here at the house.  Another question . . . how easy or hard is it to get the bikes in and out in case there's a nice day on a weekend to excerise them?

Why not get a car bubble and keep both bikes in one storage cell?
