New twist on CB
« on: April 11, 2009, 07:27:28 PM »

I trimmed the outer sides from the top to bottom giving the sides a KW profile. I think it continues the angles of the fairing into the shield. I removed an S shape about an inch and a quarter at the center of the side at the widest. You guys be the Judge. compare it to the production CB 14 dark. :2vrolijk_21:

Production again. I think the change looks less 1970 Scorpion snowmobile. Again you be the judge.

I guess that the new line will improve the turbulences , with my CB15" they are spectacular and not standable , the look is still not my favourite with your new line but when the function will be ok then one could  agree with the look .
My suggestion would be :
Try to take the old lined-shield and pull the inside-pulled shape ( right and left ) to the outer side ( the side-shapes will be more front than the middle-part), then you would have a more wide shield and the side-turbulences flow over the reshape .
would be worth a try , the look would be complete new and different .
 ( But i don`t know nothing about air-flow , just an idea )
