2 into 1 Exhaust Systems
« on: May 03, 2019, 01:32:39 PM »

fellas what is the best 2 into 1 exhaust system out there. 2005 CVO Fatboy mild build  103 on her.   What have you gained in Horse power and Torque curves.  Im looking into the Bassani Road Rage 2 or RD racing exhausts.  I don't want a super long 2 into 1 system.  Im looking for something short. but I also what the best performance I can get as well.  What do you guys stray from? what do you recommend. Any information in much appreciated.

Thanks Brandon

I found the FatCat too loud, even with the “quiet” baffle. Now using SuperTrapp SuperMeg.

Don't think a short system is going to give you the performance of a longer system. Better looks maybe.

Price vs gain vs quality? I went with Drago.

I've spoken to Kendal Johnson about this who's one the the best engine builders in the Winston-Salem area. He only uses and always recommends  D & D. They are a quality product, sound good and make more power than most.

My brother is a believer!

I have RB Racing LSR2-1 but got tied the 2-1 sound.
I prefer the sound of 2-2 pipes better. With 124" motor,  I haven't noticed any loss of power because there is so much at hand.
