SE Exhaust System with Street Cannons HD 64800043
« on: May 13, 2019, 03:30:28 AM »

Hello
Screaming Eagle exhaust with Street Cannon Mufflers on 2016 FLTRUSE.

I want this particular system. Its states that fitment excludes CVO models.

Can anyone tell me why this is the case. It seems to fit Road Glide Ultra?

I have checked with my dealer in Canberra they have no clue.....

I am looking for specific answers to this question -is it the different heads? - fairing in the way? needs the floorboards moved?

I am aware of the other options etc. I am hoping the reason for not fitting can be negated easily.

There seems to be a couple of types of SE exhaust - Cats in the mufflers and a Hi Output version both state they do not fit CVO models???

It should fit just fine. Only thing I can think of is interference with the heat shielding and the floorboard.
If it is (like one of mine) I just spaced out the floorboards.

I believe the header pipe is the same on the 103 and the 110. I took my fullsac pipe off my 2014 and it fit my 2016 cvo along with the mufflers. I'm thinking the Rushmore models are all the same up to the M8 in 2017.
In fact, my cvo mufflers will fit touring models from 1995 to 2016 because I've swapped them out on past bikes.
Just going on my memory but worth a look in the book.  :nixweiss:

all touring models pipes will fit 09-16 no mater who said what I went to Harley goodies I think for the floor board spacers as said before mufflers 95-16 will indeed fit head pipes 09-16 are the same
