Kuryakyn Curved License Plate Frame
« on: November 16, 2011, 06:12:29 PM »

I have seen a lot of discussion regarding choices for curved license plate frames for the new CVO's.  The new Kuryakyn Curved License Plate Frame are now available and I have mounted one on my new 2012 SESG.  It is plug & play with LED lights for the plate which work great.  Simple to install and a nice clean look, IMO.

So how is the top piece of chrome attached and can it be removed?

The top piece of chrome - the plate frame - can be removed from the backplate and reattached very easily using the four screws at the corners.  Kuryakyn also has complete instructions on their website.  I would post the link here but I don't know if that is allowed.  :nixweiss:

I like the Yaffe Universal Stealth III License Frame Kit.  It shows no bolts requires no drilling and has a nice clean look.  can be found about 3/4 down this link

I like this look as well but, unfortunately, the police around here do not like it as much as I do.  The oval frame covers way too much of the plate, sticker, etc. to get away with around here...  :(
