Very observant djak, sounds like you know your stuff.
Yes those outer primarys are hard to come by, mine is proper but it's been chromed, some day I'll find a polished one.
No "electric foot" on this one, just the small battery and the kick start.
I do have the "parking lamp" dash.
Other parts that have been chromed are the nose cone, rear spool, rear brake hub and backing plate plus a few nuts and bolts. There are a few after market parts like front forks, coil and master cylinder covers and decals. Powder coating and clear coat we not used in 71 but I plan on riding it so I want it to stand up.

The early “sand cast” pieces were not polished. The permanent mold housing used since ’79 had a smooth finish that looked polished relative to the earlier housing.

More than scary, it's age defining.

That's easy.  My wife's car, Infiniti G.

My suv (also Infiniti, but beat to hell and back from parking in the French Quarter) is outside the garage door in the rain, cold, hot, dust, where it belongs.  I have a room in the back of the garage where I installed a 4 foot steel door.  That's where the bike is supposed to go, but I filled it with jackets, helmets, parts, cleaning supplies, did I mention parts?

Holy smokes, what a nice combo you have there! I'm dreaming of clearing house and adding a SESG to my stable but it would be tough to determine which SESG to add. I like the Kryptonite, Ruby and Citrus/gunstock SESG's but it's a tough call on which one. All three are awesome. So many bikes...so little cash and time.

Is your garage actually carpeted with painted sheetrock, wainscoting, and trimmed out windows with shades or do you store you bike in the house? Either way, it's good to be your bike!

When I decided to build that 4 car add-on garage, I decided to have it completely finished.  It has a full bathroom, finished apartment upstairs, heated and air conditioned.  I have many friends that live out of state and this gives them a place to stay when they come to visit.  My MC's do sit on carpet because the concrete floor was finished with this gray, shiny, like polymer finish that is beautiful and easy to keep clean but makes for a slippery floor if it is wet.  I pulled my mc in one day after I got caught in a rain and when I put my wet feet down on the floor I just kept sliding, so that was when I went and bought a piece of carpet that covered that whole side of the garage.  And yes, my bike's are spoiled!

Most people just say Jagwire. You have to have the right accent to say it right. :huepfenlol2:
