I'm glad I have one of the last of the air cooled, :)
All the differant bikes i have had they aways got me from point A to point B, so not sure why you need more HP
Harley will need to go to water cooled if they plan on more HP, not sure if they will keep the heat down, with two heaters cores blowing Hot air on your legs.

and for getting more customers I'm sorry their a lot of guy's that should be on a moped :P

Here are the CA specs. I haven't had time to look at it yet though.

That pretty well confirms the CVO remains the same. Ultra, Road Glide, Street Glide, Softail Convertable .  Also, seems they are rolling out the 103 across more of the line.

No water-cooled noticed? However, this one looks odd with no specific CC size or models mentioned:

From CNet.com:

"The 1981 Nova V4 was to be the result of a partnership between Harley-Davidson and Porsche to design and build liquid-cooled motorcycles. But the concept never got out of the design phase. These are preproduction and racing mock-ups."

This eventually became the V-Rod.  I'm thinking it's only a matter of time....   :nixweiss:   :nixweiss:

I'm wondering if the water ver might come out first as a police bike ? I think ABS was first used on Police versions and they could sure using the cooling.

A couple of points of historical reference to put this debate into perspective.

WWI WLA shaft driven horizontally opposed twin cylinder Harley-Davidson built for the US Military
1960's era prototype inline four cylinder air cooled Harley-Davidson engine (later all but cloned to become the Honda 750 and all the UJM copies that followed)
Just to name two

DO NOT think EVER that because the MoCo filed paperwork or had an agreement with another business entity or even actually produced an engine or complete motorcycle that it is proof of a coming thing. When you walk into your dealership and actually see and touch a non V-Rod Harley-Davidson model motorcycle that is water cooled THEN AND ONLY THEN believe it !
