Ok, but I'm only sharing joint custody with Terry and Ken and Dood.  Dood since he'll keep it really clean.  I'll even do regular service to it (if I can find where the oil comes out).

Dammit Scott I was trying to be politically correct and not mention his.. ah... well... er.. minority status (low mileage).  We still want him to clean the damn thing.  Geez, next you'll be saying it's ok to pick on him because he's different than most of the rest of us (drove a Prius).

My name is in the hat too! :D I was looking at the pictures in the link Tommy put up and was surprised at the price tag! :nervous: No radio, tour pak, heated seats, ipod, lowers, custom paint scheme, GPS, all the extra chrome we get on CVO's and hope it has cruise and anti lock brakes...I wasn't expecting it to be that high. Bike looks awesome but was also thinking about if you had a breakdown on the road. There are HD dealers in every major city, what about Indian? Right now I'm spoiled with what I got and they are asking basically the same amount I paid for my Ultra. Would love to test one out and see if it would be worth it. But all that would be irrelevant if I won one!!! :huepfenlol2:

I am interested as well but as of now, the closest dealer to me (San Diego) is hundreds of miles away in Fresno according to their website. Not like SD is a small city..

Just tried the dealer locator tool also.  Was curious.  Apparently Polaris and/or Victory shops won't be handling Indian (that's too bad).  The closest Indian dealer they show to me is 350 miles away in Lincoln, NE.  After that it was Michigan and North Dakota.  Holy crap ??? .

They will have to line up many "metro" dealers at least to have any "shot" at this at all...

I wonder if there will be a dealer in the Atlanta area? Without a good dealer network, these new Indians will just be expensive collectors' trinkets to look pretty in the garage, and maybe ride around town on a nice Sunday afternoon.

It WOULD provide a nice counterpoint to the Honey Badger tho, and I have the garage room for it! Maybe I could sell tickets to you guys WITHOUT joint custody to come see it!

Maybe these new Indians will be so awesome reliable that they don't need a dealer every 100 miles like a another American/Chinese Chinese/American brand I can think of that is suppose to be made in the USA.

LOL, Howard!

Maybe I could make it into an annual "Indian Homage" GTG every summer! Got lots of sleeping room here... Could even pitch tents outside for the overflow, to get that authentic native American feel!  :indian_chief:

Couldn't agree more Ken.  For simple aesthetics, just the look and feeling that comes from seeing it, the best stock look is the Road King.  In my mind's eye that is "motorcycle" and really always has been.

When the Road King project got done a year and a half or so ago that twin idea of being spoiled by fairinged bikes but loving the Road King look is what did in the red bike (the 05 SEEG) for me.  That was a beautiful bike.  It had everything done on it I wanted.  I could just ride it and be good to go.

But the old Road Glide was actually a better highway ride.  The fixed fairing is just a better long distance ride. And it, too, was all set up for me.  Nothing to do but enjoy it and use.  Three bikes made the toys almost a nuisance.  So it was easy to pick which one I felt bored with.  The 05 went to a great new home.  The Road Glide gets ridden and the Road King is the local/regional hopper and the play toy.  Gotta love a nice Road King.

I sure agree with you.  Must be why I have the CVO road glide for my touring bike, long rides.  Then the Hot Rod CVO King for my local play toy!  The king is just a blast to ride.

They're going to call me when the line whittles down to me and give my color choices.  I'm hoping I can then add whatever bags/seat/trim-level I want.

The wife told me to make some room if I want one so either the 61 Bel Air Bubbletop, her Sportster "48" or the 96 Impala SS have to go.

Oh-well, I find myself working on my toys more than driving them.
