Just saw someone asking about this on Facebook......no issues yet, but when I do I may consider this.

That looks interesting.  Most everything Baker makes is top notch.

Wish I had known about the HP limitation before I bought it and the manual tensioner.  IMHO they are noisey in their own right and only support 130 HP.   So you guys doing built 117’s and larger be wary.

The early Baker units had some teething problems, IDK if they are resolved or not :confused5:

I went with the latest Harley Comp along with an Outer Primary with the cast in deflector...

I know of one bike with the Baker unit.  Just over 5k miles and it had some issues.  Wasn't ridden hard.

Check on the site with with Mike Skahill (DCFireman).  Think I remember him having issues with a relatively early version of the unit but then getting a later revision.

Can`t speak for the Baker unit, but I have been using the latest version of the SE Comp with the "Compensaver"  for the last few years with "No" issues works really well, its all about getting Lubrication to the center of the Comp and the lobes, the upgraded Harley SE unit does a much better job of getting it to center but still falls short on getting it to the "Lobes" but with the "Compensaver" I have "no" wear at all just polished surfaces.
