Korea in the summer
« on: August 15, 2006, 12:29:35 AM »

Anyone been to Korea in the summer?????
Well,  I got to tell ya,  It's freakin HOT out there.  I just went out for a bottle of water,  and lost it by the time I got back.  Not go give anyone a bad visual,  but I'm sitting in front of the computer buck naked....my clothes are soaked. To make matters worse,  as soon as they dry,  I gotta go get more water (I think I'll buy 3 bottles this time).  If any one comes over in the summer, bring your own air conditioner.

Hey Bro,
Since when do you drink water. Don't they sell Corona over there ? What kind of backwards place are you in anyway ?   Take care and get your buck ass naked self home in one piece.

I didin't know what the temperature is,  but it's so humid,  you can see the moisture in the air.  I just got back from getting water again, went for a walk around this business center here,  just my luck,  I was at the farthest point from the hotel,  you guessed it, DOWN POOR!!!  I mean big fat rain too. Kinda reminded me of the rain storm I hit on the way to Sturgis,  I couldn't see my tire on the road. Well at least my clothes got a little rinse to get rid of the sweat.
BB,  I agree,  screw the water,  where did I put that bottle of scotch from the duty free....... [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=drink.gif]

Glen's in the house!!!!
Cheers,

I hear you, when we were over there it was humid as can be and I hate humidity when combined with heat.  Really sucks, but watch that alchohol in the heat, it will just dehydrate you and make it worse, unless you drain half that bottle and then it won't matter.

Stay cool [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Too late,
Glen's in the house.  Today is Korean Independence Day,  no one works....Shpos are closed,  food joints too.  I've been trying to get lunch all afternoon with no luck.  Soooooo,  when all else fails, and you got a descent bottle of scotch with ya,  what the hell.  I bought 3 bottles of water in the rain on the way home,  I'll rehydrate tomorrow.

Yep, sure have. Was there back in the summer of '76 sleeping in tents, and playing war games. Don't remember it being to terrible hot though, but I was a young "fighting machine" back then and had spent the previous summer at Parris Island S.C. So I may just have been acclimated to the heat and humidity. Have some fond memories of that place. ;)
