Title: Wrapping
Post by: tomroozendaal on November 18, 2012, 12:46:41 PM
Hello,

Has anyone ever wrapped the front of his bike? Or the saddlebags ? Just to protect the nice paint job?

I'm thinking of wrapping parts were the paint can damage quickly, I want to use a clear wrap so you can stil see the paint job.

Does any one have experience doing this? If so, do you have some pointers for me?

Do a search for - Motorcycle Armor (they are also a vendor on the site w/a discount thread in the Vendor Discount board).

I have Motorcycle Armor on several of the leading edge exposed areas of my bike. Fender tip, top of mini fairing, front spoiler. Highly recommended. Wish I had it on the front lower portion of the fuel tank. Works very well at minimizing chips and scratches.

Invisigard @ autotrimdesign.net has some really nice pre-cut pieces & complete kits.

Mine is covered with Xpel.  Excellent product.  You can't see it and if scuffed or scratched it has the ability to heal itself.  Check it out.
