Had a few minutes after dinner tonight, so got her out of storage.  Man, that new 500 cca Yuasa battery sure spun it over with some authority!

Let the riding season begin!

Well since i have two and like to wrench i put the 117" kit in the sesg and had the heads done. New fullsac 2" baffles and a start up tts map courtsey of steve. Also ss plate and pump. Inner bearings  Ck run out .001 crank was done a few years ago. Pretty easywith a lift and nice clean shop and tools. Time to find a tuner or run it over to steve.
While i was oily i took the 05 seeg apart. Its been in a funk with the old pc111. I put in the red shift 575 gear drive cams, inner bearings,ss plate and pump. All new inner and outer ss gears for the gear drive. Ck crank .002 always been a good one never touched the crank 75000 miles.. Twolane helped me find a thundermax tuner and since i had bungs it went right on. Downloaded the base map. Runs smooth no more cut out at cruise
Both bikes have ss premiun lifters, sesg has the perfect fit pushrods, seeg has the se tapered adjustable at 3.5 turns
I think i have a little more respect for the guys that do this full time!

Did you install larger rear view mirrors to better scope out the CHP on the 101?  I do understand your need to arrive sooner and do the Van-turnaround in a shorter period of time.  My hero!

Click...click...click......damn......just un-hibernated the bikes and mine clicks even though on the tender all winter! Going to get an AC Delco battery....385 CCA and 30 AH.....

$143.95 CDN

All that's available today...except Canadian Tire with a "Motomaster" sticker on it and made in USA by EastPenn....but ...  400CCA and 26 AH.

Your preference?

I've had that happen, too.  Not fun.

Twolanerider posted about this one awhile back.  I mentioned it in my post above.  500 CCA.  :2vrolijk_21:

Had to drop mine off at the stealer for service. The RG has been under the weather and stalling, random RPM spikes at idle and I feel like its surging going down the road. Hope it's an easy/somewhat cheap fix. Just hope its fixed before next weekend's Laughlin River Run.

Switched out my detachable mounts from 2 point to 4 point. Mocked up fitment for my chopped tour pak before it goes out for paint.
