I have a 2012 CVO RG Custom, the rear stop, tail, turn signals are LED's, the front T/S are incandescents. Question I have is anyone know if I can just change out the front signals to LED's and not have an equalizer issue? It seems that it should be ok, since most of the lights are already LED's. I know when retrofitting them all out on older incandescents an equalizer is required. Thanks

You will need an Equalizer.

My 12 CVO RG custom and LED lights.
But yes a equalizer will be required. Even was on mine to change front turn to LED.

Yes, the Custom Dynamics it's a good one. Matter of fact, I'll give you the one I took off my '12 SESG if you are interested. Worked great, easy to install and I had no issues. PM me if you want it....it's not needed on my '15 and don't want things to go to waste.... ;D

On my 2011 Ultra Limited I found I could run two turn signal led's without an equalizer but when I changed all four I had to install one under the seat. Don't know how similar this is to your RG.

Just cleaning up my bookmarks
and found this thread.....without 'MY' answer. I ordered the Pro-Beam front signals from CD....along with a load equalizer that they said I would need. Installed the LED front signals, making ALL the signals/brake/running lights LED.
Performs flawlessly WITHOUT a load equalizer! Also have the Bushtec harness installed and it also works perfectly with the trailer(LED bulbs) hooked up.
