I know I can get '14+ bags and put them on '13 and older. I do plan on doing this on my 2011. But the more I look at them the more questions come about. So hoping to learn from other's experience vs the hard way.
1. Who makes a good extended bag? Probably unpainted as I want it to match my CVO scheme. Trying to make you have to look twice vs over the top custom.
2. How much "lean" do you loose with say a 4" extended bag? I'd still like to ride this.
3. The power locks. Does the newer power locks use the same connection? I doubt the locking mechanism is the same, but I'd like to keep that functionality.
4. And all this considered, at some point I'd like to add speakers to the lids. Probably just going to go with the 6x9 so I can keep for the most part the same profile. (I talked myself out of going with the 8" lids)
5. What are things I need to worry about, like leaks, bag guards needing to change out, etc?
