I'm looking at a 2014 CVO and a 2017 Ultra Limited. I know the CVO will have the larger engine and heated seats. Will the performance be better on the CVO too? What are other differences that I would notice?

The biggest thing to consider imo is what are your priorities in a motorcycle then rank and evaluate them. For example the CVO will have more bling and creature comforts such as heated seat, central locking system, SiriusXM radio, garage door opener, lighting in tour pak and over saddlebags, etc. The 2017 Limited will have the newer front forks, rear shocks and of course the M8 motor. Comparing the Twin Cam to the M8 is almost as complex as agreeing on the best motor oil, lol. Lots of good information on this site (and several others) regarding problems and issues with both motors.
As far as performance I've had several 110s and two M8s and the stock M8 performs very very well. Ride both if you can and make your own evaluation. Either would be a good choice.

Give both of them a thorough test ride. Slow speed maneuvering to high speed interstate handling. Check out all the systems, see which bike "feels" right.
CVO has some good advantages like key fob locking lids & heated seats & grips and custom paint like ultrafxr posted. The 2017 has easier lid openers, most say better handling and a friendlier power band. More passenger room on the 2017.
If you read enough reviews/comments it could be helpful or somewhat confusing. Generally people tend to bitch more about stuff they are unhappy with, so reviews get skewed to the negatives.
Buy the one you like best, both are good bikes.

I had a 2012 Limited and I will tell you the 2017 Limited is much better.

I've read that 110 and m8 are similar in performance stock. More heat from 110 I guess although not deal breaker. 17 was first year of m8. I've read of problems here and there. Probably fine. Cvo a nicer bike. All therushmore improvements. That's what i did and paid 25 for a cvo with 6k miles.
