Like every one says it’s not if... it’s when. Kid made a left turn on to me, rode it best I could and then he tuned back to the right and that’s when I went down. Other than a banged up elbow and a streached groin think I’m good, Bike just a lill scratched up, rode it home and put ice on the elbow

Super glad your ok.
Hope the kids insurance company does a good job buffing out your scratches....
-
glad you walked away
-
The car was a lill dinged up too
-
Scratched bikes can be repaired. Glad you're okay. Heal up fast.
-
Nice reminder for the rest of us.... no matter how defensive and alert a person is theres always the chance. Now you number can go back in the hat and start over, glad your okay.
-
Go to the doctor and get checked, scanned, and X-rayed. While you may feel sore and banged up, there may be other issues.
Glad it wasn’t worse than it is.

I am real happy that you're not hurt any worse than you are but like Mark suggested.......go get checked out. My personal experiences (several times) is the second day let's you know you were hurt more than you thought.....the third day is it hurts a hell of a lot worse than it did the first day.
Go get checked out.....that's why we have insurance and hopefully he has his, also.
Also, don't spend time getting caught up in the mind snot.....thinkin well, if I'd have done this or that maybe it wouldn't have happened. In those spur of the moment decisions, it doesn't much matter what our logical mind thinks, instincts and reaction take over. Hopefully we have enough training and experience that we'll come out of a given situation better than somebody that doesn't have the training or experience. :2vrolijk_21:

Happy you walked away from this one. Go get checked out.
HD will replace all the scratched pieces for you. It will only cost the insurance around $5k.

-
Glad you are ok. Did he say " I didn't see you" ::)
-
Glad you are OK!! Looking at the car I am surprised there was so little damage to the bike.
-
Sorry to read about this and hope your feeling better.
Hope no one has to experience what you did.
It is crazy the way some people drive around here.
Friday on my way to work there was a guy in a older full size service van texting with both hands, rubbed off the curb a couple times like it for him was normal. I got away from him quick.
Yesterday a guy on a crotch rocket was texting with his phone stuck to his fuel tank, constantly looking down.
It's not just people in cars doing it.
-
Sorry to read/hear about this... wishing you a full and speedy recovery.

Glad you are OK. Hope the car owners Ins pays for everything..

Get a doc to check you out, then get that bike fixed right on the kid's insurance. Glad you could walk away from this one. Best not to play the "If I had done this & they had done that then X" deal. It is what it is.
-
Happy the injuries to you and your bike are minor. I hope the insurance company cooperates and makes the repairs painless. Best wishes to you...
-
Nothing new to add except glad you appear to be ok.. sometimes it takes 24 hours for things to come up. do get checked out by medical staff.
-
Don't play macho man. Go get checked out and x-rayed. Also have your bike checked out as well. Insurance, hopefully his, should cover any costs.

really concerns me of All the accidents of late. My ggod friend Ironbutt 41707 went down in BC, Greg, fastfreddy & another friend that goes to our church went down Sat. plus, me dropping mine & breaking the fibula, practicing to teach RLP class the following week. I know accidents happen, just seems like this riding season seems to be hitting me closer to home. I'm so thankful that everyone has survived them, some even walking away. Praise the LORD !! continue to PRAY for you all, for healing & speedy recovery. as I always close with :
RIDE SAFE !! BE CAREFUL !!!!

Long time rider as a lot of you are and I must say it is a lot worse today than years ago. We’ve always had drivers making bad judgements to deal with. But these days with the phones, texting, etc., they just are more consumed with the media they’re using than just paying attention to driving.
-
It is Officially, " Riding season " means this is going to happen, short trips, long trips. Be extra Cautious my friends.
As others have stated, go get a look over.... I bet you will get the bike looked over good, treat yourself to the same.

Sorry to hear about your accident, but glad you were able to walk away, it could've been much worse.
Please mend up well and keep us posted on the damage to your bike.

Glad you're ok. Same thing happened to me on March 11th of this year. I'm hoping to get my bike back today....yes today. I had it back for awhile, and I got to take it back in for final repair (est 2 days), three weeks later, I'm told "maybe" today. Hope your repair goes smoother than mine.
